The idea for this puzzle came to me when I was just 19 years old. It appeared quite suddenly during a quiet winter stroll home through the snow — a true creation of my youth.

Revealing anything about its construction here would unfortunately spoil the solution, so I must remain silent on that matter.

I have no intention of disappointing the many fans who have come to expect exceptionally difficult puzzles from me. After all, it is the dedicated solvers who refuse even the smallest hint that bring me the greatest joy.
