Kepler’s Planetary Puzzle
A leading figure in the scientific revolution of the 17th century, Kepler published his Laws of Planetary Motion in 1609. He was instrumental in debunking the long-held view that the Sun orbited the Earth.

Galileo’s Globe
An influential astronomer, Galileo famously used the telescope to make celestial observations that ultimately changed the understanding of the universe. He stated that the Earth was not the center of the universe but that, on the contrary, it and all the other planets orbited the Sun.

Halley’s Comet
Halley became the youngest member of the Royal Society at the age of 22. He is best known for calculating the orbit of the comet, now known as Halley’s Comet, which is visible from Earth only every 75-76 years. Its appearance has been documented since 240 BC. and also appears in the Bayeux Tapestry, created shortly after 1066.
